The Patterns of English Spelling contains all the rimes (word families) and all the words within each rime, conveniently bringing word lists together for teachers. An index of all words found in the English language, word families include pronunciations, word difficulty levels, power vocabulary, more power vocabulary, contractions, and related rhyming cross-references are included. Chapters are divided into consonant and vowel patterns as well as long and short vowels. Each entry contains a page number where all the words that share the same pattern may be found.
