Originally designed for adult dyslexic students, this individualized approach to spelling consists of word lists that the student may be tested upon. After finding the correct level, the student progresses through the following word lists, which are keyed to the page number in The Patterns of English Spelling. Each lesson contains a target word, reference page number and sentence to be read aloud. Actual teaching instruction is contained within the referenced Patterns of English Spelling. Lists of spelling words in each level are also included, with homophones and heteronyms written in bold and bold-italics, respectively. Instructions on how to find the student's correct placement, and teaching advice are given at the beginning. 204 loose-leaf pages in three-ring-binder.
