Voyages in English invites you and your students to explore the world of language. Your students will enjoy some of the best of today's literature as they learn about functional creative writing. Through exposure to good literature and an invitation to write, they will learn about grammar and how it is used to develop good writing skills. By working on all aspects of the language arts curriculum--reading, writing, listening, and speaking--your students will become 'insiders' in the world of written language. As insiders, they will develop a new appreciation of literature by evaluating the way other writers write.
