Whenever trouble came her way, Sarah knew Marcus would be there to help her. Now that she's leaving Williamsburg to return to Kentucky, she's determined to help him. Years ago, Marcus lost his wife and son to slave traders, and he has reason to believe that his family is now in Kentucky. If they are there, Sarah vows she'll find them. What she doesn't plan on finding, however are sickness, non-stop Indian raids, and extremely harsh living conditions. Through it all Sarah comes to a new understanding of what it means to be a child of God. Recommended for ages 10 to 14.
