From the “womb” of the Enlightenment of the 18th century, the historical-critical method of biblical interpretation has attacked the authority of God’s Word in Holy Scripture. Finding an ideal setting in a post-modern culture, the god of this world has invaded liberal Christian denominations, using this method as his chief weapon of deception and confusion. The World, not Almighty God, seems to have a more powerful voice and influence on such subjects as: biblical authority, other theological issues, education, evolution, abortion, marriage, and homosexuality.
