This an evangelical exposition of the first 11 chapters of Genesis that Atkinson argues are an overture to the rest of the Bible since they reveal God's loving mercy and salvation even in judgement. Atkinson then applies those findings to issues we face today and presents the magnificent cosmic setting of the early story of humanity. His comments are based on his scholastic work at Oxford University but are written for teachers or lay people.
