A Reason For ® Science teaches basic Life, Earth, and Physical Science through fun, hands-on activities. Each lesson is tied directly to the National Science Education Content Standards and uses an inquiry-based approach designed to enhance learning.
Instead of a hardback textbook filled with 'facts' to memorize, your child will be working in an interactive worktext designed to develop critical-thinking skills. Students start each week with a hands-on activity demonstrating a key science concept. This is followed by group discussion, journaling, and a series of thought-provoking questions. Lessons conclude with a summary of key concepts and a related 'object lesson' from Scripture.
