Castle Diary by Richard Platt, and illustrated by Chris Riddell, is a fictionalized account of a young boy named Tobias Burgess' entry into page-hood in the year 1285. Toby is an 11-year-old boy who is sent to live with his uncle and to train and study as a page. Written in a diary format, and written for ages 9 to 12 years.
