War widow and a single mom, Amber Hill feels robbed and angry at God. She finds difficulty helping her nine-year old daughter Bree, through her grief. Race car driver Cody Jackson encourages Bree to join in a Derby car race to support local youth, giving her an outlet for the grief. As a friendship grows between Cody and Amber, she finds it hard to watch the dangerous races. She would fall apart if she lost another person she is close to. How can she overcome this fear so she can move on with her life?
