Andrew Fausset (1821-1910) graduated from Trinity College, Dublin. He was curate of Bishop Middleham from 1848 until 1859 and rector of St.Cuthbert's, York, from 1859 until his death. He is well known for his work in the Jamieson, Fausset, Brown Commentaries.
