The authors of The Dead Sea Scrolls Deception attempt to argue that the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls was followed by a vast conspiracy to cover up some of the scrolls contents. Alleging that these scroll fragments contain information that challenges the Church's version of Christian history, the authors argue that people all the way to the Vatican were involved in the suppression of these documents. Unlike other books on the Dead Sea Scrolls which provide a more moderate interpretation of these events, The Dead Sea Scrolls Deception offers a more radical assessment of the events that surround this important archaeological find.
