Lazarus recounts his own death and life experience as he watches Jesus' crucifixion. He believes that Jesus is the Messiah, but doesn't understand what he sees happening. Lazarus struggles to have faith during the painful events of Jesus' death and wonders why Jesus could save Lazarus but not Himself from death.
