This new eight-book spelling series makes possible anorganized, effective spelling program in just thirty minutes of class time per week. Each book is suitable for half a school year. Book A is for the first half of third grade. Book AA must be used for the second half. The first ten to twelve words in each lesson are grade-level words that follow a particular pattern. Sight words frequently used in writing are also included. In addition, each lesson allows space for words from students' reading or writing.
