Each math concept is covered through bite-sized lessons that teach through the four learning styles (visual, tactile, auditory, kinesthetic), giving students a deeper understanding of the material. No Montessori or math knowledge is required-nor any lesson preparation! Teachers simply read what's in quotes. Time spend on the program will vary by age, from 15 minutes per day for 4 year olds to 30-45 minutes per day for students ages 9 & up. Instead of marching from lesson to lesson, teachers observe whether students understand and are ready to move on to the next lesson, understand but want to do more problems on it, or don't understand and the lesson needs to be revisited at a later date. Each lesson in the book is clearly laid out with the objective, manipulatives needed, learning styles used, and any consumables needed, followed by the scripted lesson. The Answer keys feature the student workbook pages with the correct answers overlaid in red ink. This Kit II includes almost everything needed; parents will need to supply crayons, markers, scissors, string, playing cards, post it notes, measuring cups, measuring spoons, kitchen scale, paper money, drawing compass & protractor, calculator, compass, and tape measure.
