One day Buddy gets his parents permission to go for a long hop, but when he gets to the crossroads he can't remember which way they told him to turn. It was either right or left if only he's listened! Scatterbrained Buddy chooses the wrong path and winds up fact to face with a Scruffy Varmint who sets him to work making soup. But Buddy isn't very good at following directions. Will he learn to listen, before it's too late?
