Don Wardlaw explores the relationship between the form of the text and its meaning. He suggests that we need to grasp the nature of that relationship and this will yield important insights in moving from the text to the formation of the sermon. Wardlaw further urges that to do this is to communicate the text in the fullness of both its cognitive and intuitive dimensions of meaning.
