The Daily Study Bible Series is the Old Testamtent companion to the Barclay's New Testament commentaries. This volume on Daniel by D.S. Russell begins with an introductory section which discusses the language, date, structure and literary style of Daniel. The work then gives a scholarly but readable analysis of the work. This work does not have a lot of speculation regarding the fulfillment of prophecy found in many other volumes. A good work for the pastor or informed lay person.
