Peter Gladwin was barely one when a domestic fire left him partly disabled and horribly scarred. The third of nine children, he was raised on a rough council estate in Halifax, UK. Peter was in and out of trouble with the police and took refuge in drinking, gambling, and drugs. After contemplating suicide, a conversation with his elder sister led to an encounter that would change his life forever. It was the start of a profound transformation.
