Miller's accomplishments as both a writer, for an amazing introduction read The Singer Trilogy, and a preacher, have enabled him to consider the postmodern pulpit in a manner that stimulates the mind and convicts the heart. Even the layout of the book, which places the story of the preacher on the right page and a forthright discussion of contemporary preaching on the left, is intriguing!
