Get to know Washington with Knowledge Box Central's Washington State History Lapbook Journal! This Lapbook Journal is designed for students in grades 6-12, and includes both a study guide as well as pre-printed lapbook pages in bound book format. The included state-specific study guide provides background material, historical notes, and other factual information; students will explore state symbols, songs and landmarks, famous people, geographical regions, timelines of historical events, and more. Parents should note that this study guide is identical to the study guide in the sold-separately lapbooks (which are designed for children in Grades K-8) so that parents can cover the information once with students of all ages. Six lapbook booklets, journal pages, and report pages are provided. The lapbook booklets may be either glued to the last two pages, or, students may also choose to not complete the booklets, but rather incorporate the information in the final state report. Students will complete booklets and journal pages with information on the state's populations and borders, state symbols, elected officials, natural wonders or state monuments, and more. There's no need to use up printer supplies with this pre-printed laptop resource; simply cut out and assemble, and you're ready to write. This book contains a study guide, journal pages (white paper), and lapbook booklet pages (bright colored paper) in a single book; the lapbook and journal pages are designed to be cut out and glued to the back two pages of the book. Consumable, non-reproducible resource.
