In the graphic novel Judges 4, two Bible stories are told. First is the Book of Ruth is a fascinating story about a non-Jewish woman (a Moabitess) who married into a Jewish family and became the great grandmother of King David and an ancestor of Jesus Christ. She is a lasting example of familial loyalty in refusing to abandon her mother-in-law. The second portion of this comic book is devoted to Samuel, the last judge of Israel. Samuel was a man chosen for God, from his miraculous birth until his death that obeyed and served God.
