Paul Brand grew up in India with missionary parents. His father was a doctor who was willing to help people with leprosy but Paul vowed to never become a doctor. After many years of tragedy and challenges Paul returned to India with a medical degree and began to do exactly what he had vowed never to do-work with the lepers. Paul's work was influential-because of him leprosy become a disease that was no longer life threatening and could be managed. Paul's story is an inspiring one-one that gives hope and new life to those that suffer.
