The Scriptures reveal the person and perfections of God using many different names for God. The various names used in reference to God are examined in relationship to their purpose, virtues, and characteristics. Some of the names of God discussed in this classic work include: El Shaddai, the Almighty God whose strength is made perfect in human weakness, El Elyon, the Most High whose dominion is everlasting, and Jehovah Sabaoth, the Lord of Hosts who judges and delivers his people.
