The book of Judges teaches five great lessons, and in this book the author reviews and summarizes these lessons. The study is not exhaustive but rather suggestive, and it is suggested that you study various lines of investigtion in your own devotions. The first lesson is the character of man, the second is the compassion of God, the third is the cry of the people to God, the fourth is the choice of the deliverer, and the fifth is the confounding of the enemy.
