God's people were rescued from slavery, given revelations of who He was, and brought into a land of milk and honey. Sadly, Israel chose to forget what God had done for them. Adultery and prostitution are the ugly pictures Hosea used to describe Israel's spiritual condition. In Hosea's unfailing love for his wayward wife, he lived out the way God loves his people. His story is a reminder that God will never abandon us.
