The 'Pray, Sing, Play' Method provides an effective and enjoyable teaching method for training beginning violinists. This uniquely Christian method teaches the violin using familiar Christian hymns and choruses, trains the ear by having students sing the hymn before playing, and establishes a solid technical and rhythm foundation with one-on-one instruction. This course instructs students on how to take care of a violin and use a bow in addition to providing musical instruction in theory and method.
Level 1 introduces first position, basic bow strokes, dynamics, and other techniques.
