It includes a summary of contents and information on author- ship, historical background and literary style for each book of the King James Version. Maps and a glossary are also in clued. The work is intended for lay readers, students in schools and colleges, and is written by a layman. On a number of contro versial points, the different theories have been noted, with the evidence adduced for them.
