In The Crayon Kingdom by Jennie Bishop, Father Crayon created many different kinds of crayons, in all kinds of colors, to work together to color and create the wonderful scenes of our world. But one day, Green gets tired of only coloring the stalks and stems and doesn't feel like he gets much credit, so he leaves his friends to only color with other greens. As this trend picks up, all of the colors part ways to only color and congregate with their own colors. . . making the creations of the world a dull place. In the end, the crayons all discover that only working together are they able to truly create God's masterpiece.
