Simply Classical Curriculum: Level Two - Recitations is part of the Memoria Press special-needs classical readiness 'Simply Classical' program. Please note that the levels for this program are: Level A (Ages 2-3), Level B (Ages 3-4), Level C (Ages 4-5), Level 1 (Ages 5-6), Level 2 (Ages 6-8). The age ranges refer to either chronological age or skill level. This set of lesson plans is taken from the full Level Two Curriculum Manual (sold-separately), which contains a full-year of lesson plans that include multiple subjects, including these recitations. Note that the initial page in this guide says that 'you will find your list of recitations in the appendix' - but this guide is the list of recitations found in the appendix of the primary curriculum manual. The opening and closing prayer (used daily) is also provided at the beginning of the lesson plans, along with Code of Conduct for Character. No additional resources are necessary for this particular lesson guide. Opening Recitation Lesson Plans provide parents with an easy way to integrate recitations into your curriculum, which can help with working memory, oral language, confidence, poise, self-control, and mastery of material. The lesson plans are arranged in grid-box format with one box per week listing each recitation and a place to record if mastered.
