This is the inside story of General Superintendent Gideon B. Williamson, as told by the one who knew him best: his wife, Audrey. Gideon, a wise, confident man with superb leadership qualities, had a tender heart for others and great empathy for younger men entering the ministry. He was named for Gideon, The Judge, whose story is related in Judges 6-8. Neither that story nor this is the recounting of a life entirely free from errors in judgment.
