Proverbs are brief, memorably phrased observations on life. Through proverbs, people articulate what they have learned about the art of living. Spending six weeks with Proverbs, Wisdom for Living, and a small group or class can also help to sharpen your perceptiveness, mold your habits of thought, and strengthen your devotion to what is good. Excerpts from the book of Proverbs are included with questions for reflection and discussion, explanations of the text, thoughts and experiences of other Christians, and prayer helps. Each session is designed to take about one hour and a half and can be shortened if necessary.
