Fifteen undergraduate professors from twelve reputable schools write this collaborative project, a simple, short New Testament introduction designed for the college classroom. Each contributor focuses on author intent, illuminating the central themes the biblical author intended to highlight in his writing. Beginning with an overview of the commonly known stories to the New Testament audience, the contributors then explore the standard who, what, when, where and why questions in a one-page snapshot, and move to offer thoughts on life application in the 21st century. Fifty full-color photographs and five full-color maps bring the texts to life, and each chapter contains key words for review.
