For centuries, John Calvin's prayers remained buried within the pages of his Old Testament commentaries. Recently, editor and pastor of First Baptist Church in Jackson, Kentucky Dustin Benge, compiled these prayers in order to make them accessible to the wider Christian community. His purpose was to provide a selection of prayers to aid in the reader's personal prayer time.
In this volume you will find 150 of Calvin's prayers, arranged by subject, along with the Scripture passage on which Calvin was lecturing, which relate to the prayer thematically.
