Engaging children in the editing process, critical thinking skills, correct grammar and punctuation usage are self-enforced with each Editor in Chief exercise. Teaching students to carefully analyze and edit stories, students identify and circle errors and write in their correction. The errors are based on grade level--while the contextual content itself is ungraded--to allow these books to be used at most levels.
