Revelation is one of the most important concepts in Western religious thought. Since the Enlightenment, however, traditional notions of revelation have come under critique, even to the point of being wholly abandoned. In this book, Grant Kaplan examines some of the well-known and lesser-known figures in the Enlightenment and post-Enlightenment, showing that a Catholic retrieval of revelation is possible and even preferable to alternative paths.
