If customs, language, clothing and food are like the leaves of a tree then the underlying worldview is like the trunk and branches. Until we grasp our own worldview--and we all have one--then we cannot hope to understand other people's. This book explains the major contemporary worldviews, including secular, traditional, Hindu, Buddhist, Chinese, and Islamic as well as the biblical worldview. Our own basic assumptions, the way these radically different worldviews interact, and the basic principles in communicating the gospel to those with other perspectives are all explained.
