Place Value Board is a unique hands-on device used to illustrate the structure of the decimal number system. It has a 20' long, durable wooden-base holding ten thick, curved wires mounted on either side of a plastic center board. Each wire contains nine plastic disks. Wires represent the place value positions in a number. Disks represent the digit written in a position. To illustrate whole numbers, flip any number of disks in front of the center board. Comma and decimal point inserts are included to help illustrate place values.
