Each session focuses on one hymn. Participants will reflect on their personal history with the hymn, explore biblical connections in the texts, learn the history and legends associated with the hymn, and consider how the message of the hymn applies to their daily journey of faith. Hymns included in this volume are: All Creatures, Worship God Most High, Mothering God, You Gave Me Birth, Praise and Thanksgiving, God, Who Stretched the Spangled Heavens, In Sacred Manner.
