Uncle Dan's Report Card introduces a tool for families to measure their own behaviors and values. It's based on the author's discovery of her Uncle Dan's report card from 1914 in which a 'Home Report' section of the card was to be completed by parents, which graded things from saving money, helping parents, manners, honesty, and kindness. This book has one chapter for 19 different habits, virtues, and values that are essential to raising good citizens. At the end of each chapter is a Take-Away section with some important notes on that habit and why it is important.
