This Lectern Bible has been produced with traditional knowledge and skill by the Cambridge University Press, the oldest Bible printer and publisher in the world. Trained craftsmen gathered the printed pages for sewing and gilding, working in much the same way as their forbears did. The silk ribbons and tail bands and binding cases involved patient hand work. This edition has a black goatskin leather cover and gilt, gold-red edges. Features include large print for easy reading, center column cross-referencing, three ribbon markers and a presentation page. Measures 12' x 10' x 4'.
