The expression, 'The Fourfold Gospel,' was, A.B. Simpson believed, a gift to him from God. He was both astounded and gratified by its acceptance all across America, particularly by those who understand something of the blessing it represented. Simpson also believed that its truths encompassed the highest life possible for redeemed men-a life reproduced by Christ Himself in His followers, making them miniature and living epistles of the Son of Man, 'What,' Simpson asked, 'could be more lofty, more beautiful, more fascinating?'
