10-year-old Chet is living with his Uncle Jerry for the summer in Elm Hills, New Jersey. He's starting to feel at home now that he's made some friends. But then awful reports begin streaming in of shark attacks all along the New Jersey coast. Surely, these stories couldn't be true. But when Chet is swimming alone in Matawan Creek one day, he is in for a terrifying experience when he comes face to face with a bloodthirsty shark.
