Eleven-year-old Barry lives with his mom, dad and little sister Cleo in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hits. Meteorologists didn't know just how bad the hurricane was going to be until the last minute, leaving thousands of people scrambling to evacuate the city. When Barry's little sister gets really sick, his family has to stay behind and try and wait out the storm. But as the levees break and the water levels start rising, where are Barry and his family supposed to go? This is a fictionalized account of a true catastrophic event.
