American Dan Terry and his family spent 40 years devoted tothe people, the culture, and the landscapes of Afghanistan.Tragically, in August 2010, Dan was among 10 humanitarianaid workers assassinated in Afghanistan. Weaving Life tellshow Dan wove relationships, joy, partnership, andunderstanding into his work in Afghanistan. Dan and hisfamily confronted assumptions, discard platitudes, andrelentlessly pursued authentic relationships. EasternMennonite University film students, intrigued by Dan'scommitment and humility, embarked on their own journey tounderstand the story. Through interviews, Dan's photography,and their own artwork and video journals, the studentsdiscover the startling power of sustained commitment andwhat Dan called 'fierce' love.
