In The Gift of Being, A Theology of Creation the primary concern is to reflect on what is seen as the traditional task of creation-theology history. This book attempts to do this by bringing major concerns of the tradition into some relationship with issues of contemporary science, particularly the theory of biological evolution and the new vision of physical cosmology which has become so widely known not only to professional scientists but to the public at large.
