The purpose of this research work is the study of the literary sources that served, first to build the theological thought that is found throughout the NT as the concept Messiah, judgment, hell inter alia; and second, to redact the books of the NT canon. The literary sources to which we refer are the abundant literature that emerged in the IP, such as the literature of the apocalyptic genre, which lays the foundations for much of Christian theology. The deuterocanonical literature or called apocrypha by the Protestant church, which was a very important source of the writers of the NT, the Essene literature, which is the literature produced by the sect of the Essenes who lived in the caves of Qumran and was part of from the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. To this must be added the oral tradition of the Jews that was later written in the talmud.
