Continuing from Song of the Ovulum, Lauren and Billy set out to find Bonnie. Using Lauren's gifted hearing, they try to track Bonnie's never-ending song, while Walter and Ashley search for clues to cure a mysterious disease that threatens to kill the original anthrozils. With Lauren and Matt thrust into Second Eden, they learn the importance of self-sacrifice.
