With the purpose of continuing the life work of Raymond Brown--study of the Gospel of John--John R. Donahue, S.J., has edited Life in Abundance. This book consists of a collection of essays (originally papers) given at 'An International Conference on the Gospel of John: Life in Abundance,' held at St. Mary's Seminary and University in Maryland, October 16-18, 2003. The essays include Johannine Theology, issues of interpretation and homilies, among others. Not only does this book honor the memory of Raymond E. Brown, but it also spreads his influence.
