This is a book of 52 devotions, one for each week of the year. The devotions make good use of the ordinary things of life to demonstrate or experience spiritual truths. One week families may make a 'fort' out of chairs and blankets; the next they may use flashlights and shadows; on another they may venture outside. These devotions teach children something about God and themselves, plus they actively involve children. Each devotion includes the Bible basis, a list of equipment or supplies needed, a family activity, comments, questions to discuss, and a closing prayer.
