I always felt I was a mistake and never should have been born. I was forty-three years old before I knew that God was excited on the day of my birth. Insecurity has many faces. It can be hidden behind a loud, aggressive response; a quiet, withdrawn demeanor; a determined drive to succeed; or a fear of failure. It is whatever keeps us from becoming real people.
